Monitor: Says "no signal" after boot up

Just happened a few days ago, no big changes other than a few Microsoft updates being installed. Now, after booting the computer it displays the XP splash screen and then goes black and says "no signal". I can boot it into Safe Mode fine, but not in normal mode. I'm thinking the monitor driver has been corrupted or something? What do you suggest I do and how can I reinstall the correct driver?

    Thanks!!

That or the computer is switching into a resolution that the monitor doesn't support. You may just need to reinstall the driver for your video card. You can look and see if it displays under the device manager in safe mode. Then use that to hunt down the right driver. If the computer came from us, contact our technical support to have them get you the right driver.
