    Lightbulb Employee Swiping cards....

    I have a few questions...

    1. Is there a way to make the employee card to do a "enter" when swiping so that you dont have to swipe AND hit enter to get into the system?

    2. Is there not a way to clear all of the samples items at one time?

    3. Are there any specific directions on installing a Pole Display, i have a CD-7220, and is there way to hook it up is via serial port on pc?

    thanks

Print the report to a laser printer and make sure that laser printer is the default printer on the computer so that you can also view it to the screen.

Just happened to be reading and researching this software and thought I would try to help.
In dealing with different swipe and barcode products, I know some of them will allow you to set an auto enter at the end of swipe or barcode read.

    1. In our software, you are required to hit 'ok' when you are done swiping the card. There already is an 'auto enter' (carriage return) when the card is swiped and that sets focus to the 'ok' button.

    2. You set the pole display up just like a printer and load in the display pole driver in the Business System>Definitions>Printer & Forms Setup.

After that, you just need to enable the pole display in the misc definitions.

Note: Make sure you use the Generic/Text Only printer driver and disable all of the form to tray assignments (that is in the properties for the print driver under 'Device Settings'.
