    End of Year reports

    Hi,

Can anyone give me info on End of Year reports?

I would like as much info as I can about the year that past.

A good report I'm looking for is:
Showing which products sold and quantity sold of each (for 2009).

but if there are any other informative end of year report, I would like to know.

    Thank you,
    Amit.

The information you are looking for is in the
"Restaurant Report Menu". Goto "Manager Menu" then "Restaurant Reports"
then "Sales by product type and hour"
Set the date range that you want and print to screen or paper.

    Hope this helps

not exactly the report i was looking for

    Hi,
This report unfortunately works only if you have each item as a diff. type.

    I do not.

I need a report by item name such as product activity report, but this report seems to be from 2008 data and not 2009.

also it has a lot of blank data.

Any report to get only relevant data?

    thanks
    AMit.

You might want to make sure you have all of your costs and product types filled out in your product list. This really brings together some, if not most of the historical reports in BPA. It's a good time of the year to do it too!

Business System -> Reports -> Sales Reports might be a good area to play around in.

how many of each products sold

    Tyson,
Even if I had all products filled with type, this report would give me by type and not product.

I want to know how many of each products I have sold. Not by the product type, since I am a bakery, my types can be chocolate for example which will encompass more than one product.

Is there a way to do that?

    thanks,
    Amit.

You can try to food cost report if you are running the restaurant software. Product cost report is on the touchpos side. That will still organize the data by product type but you don't need product types set up to see the data. That report will show you the total count for each product sold in the system.

    no time frame

    Tyson,
The Product cost report does not give time frame choice. I don't know what time frame it takes for the report?

It did give what I was looking for, but I don't think it was the correct time frame.

Any idea how to set the time frame to 1/1/09-12/31/09?

    thanks,
    Amit.

It does give you a start date/start time - end date/end time option before you run that report in restaurant. On the touch pos side, it gives you just start date and end date options.

We must be talking about diff. reports because they one i tried just ran and gave me no choice of dates.

I will look into others that may do that.

    thanks,
    Amit.
