Exclamation Server Crashed XP reinstalled D-link reinstalled

What business software do I need to reinstall on the server? What do I need to do concerning the two client computers?

We have a setup file you can run to restore the program on the server. Do you have a backup of your data?

If you have lost your disc, contact BSS to get that setup file emailed out to you.

The Business Software was not used at the time of the crash. No data existed that needed backup. I have the disks that were sent in August of 2008. What do I install on the server and the two clients?

On the server, you will use the cd that came with the bpa software package. That will install the whole program on the server machine.

For instructions on your client machine(s), use this thread.

When I run F:\bpa\netsetup.exe at the client I get the message
"The resource file is not valid overwrite it with a new empty one". Entering yes or no gives the same result.

Is the server side of bpa in the root of the c: drive? Do you have your network mapping set up to point to the servers c: drive? Also, you need to make sure and give your client computers read/write access to the servers c: drive.

If you have verified these things and it still doesn't work. I would call and have one of our technicians walk you through troubleshooting the issue.
