    Receipt Printing Twice as Long

When printing the receipt through the POS system, the printer feeds additional blank tape, almost doubling the length of the printed receipt.

Any ideas on how to correct it. The printer is a Citizen CT S300. BPA setting for printer are:

    cash drawer string: CHR(27)+'p'+CHR(0)+CHR(100)+CHR(250)+chr

    printer cutoff string: CHR(27)+'@'+CHR(29)+CHR(86)+CHR(66)+CHR(13)

slip printer: Generic / Text Only

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

You might try to define the paper type to "not available" under the "device settings" associated with your printers.

Cigarloft, Here is our recommended setting for that.

Go Start>Printers and Faxes (May need to go Start>Settings>Printers and faxes)

Right click on the printer and go to properties.

Then go to the Device Settings tab, and set Cont Feed to Envelope. Then click the next two items down one at a time and set it to the same setting. This will drastically save you on paper. Hope that helps!
